Dreamville artist Bas has dropped the second single ‘Tribe‘ from new, third studio album ‘Milky Way‘ ahead of the album’s release this Friday, August 24th.

The single features Dreamville founder, the ever on-point and conscious content driven J. Cole – anyone who’s familiar with Bas, or J. Cole can attest that whenever these two collaborate, audible flames are the result: Bas‘ debut studio record on DreamvilleLast Winter‘ featured ‘Lit‘ which featured J. Cole as a bonus track (it had been released prior to ‘Last Winter‘). The album featured another collaboration titled ‘My N*gga Just Made Bail‘ – another banger drawing a righteous J. Cole verse.

Then we were treated to another absolute gem ‘Night Job‘ which appeared on the DreamvilleRevenge of the Dreamers 2‘ compilation album (which in itself is WELL worth many listens – highlights the best of the talented Dreamville roster). ‘Night Job‘ featuring J. Cole also landed itself a spot among the track-list of Bas‘ silky second studio album ‘Too High To Riot‘.

Milky Way‘ has so far been promoted by single and music video ‘Boca Ration‘ which features ASAP Ferg. The cover artwork & track-list for the project are yet to be revealed but going off the heat ‘Tribe‘ provides and the consistency of a highly respectable standard exhibit throughout ‘Last Winter‘ and ‘Too High To Riot‘ I am super excited to hear the project from New York wordsmith Bas – and yep we will indeed be reviewing the album here on BG so stay tuned!
