Enter Shikari have announced a whopping 28 date UK tour beginning in December this year and spanning into February 2019!
The Stop The Clocks Tour is to be the band’s most extensive run of shows ever and is certainly going to come as welcome and exciting news for all the Shikari faithful.
Speaking about the decision to embark upon such a length of dates, Enter Shikari frontman Rou Reynolds said
Playing 28 dates across the UK is our way of taking what we do back to as many people as possible, in the most intimate and direct way.
The dates all see the group returning to intimate, smaller venues than the arenas they have grown into filling within recent years, providing all fans a great chance to see the Hertfordshire outfit at their local venue, which was a choice influenced largely by the state of Britain and Brexit in particular and shows a lot of compassion and consideration on the part of Shikari – good on you lads!
With things being what they are right now, it doesn’t seem fair for only those who can afford the travel to a major city for a night out – plus the inevitable other costs that go along with it – to be able to see a show.
Gloucestershire punkers Milk Teeth have been revealed as the sole support for selected dates throughout this huge touring run, ensuring these shows are gonna be rife with vitality and quite hectic.
Enter Shikari are also due to perform as a headline act at this weekend’s 2000 Trees Festival in Cheltenham.
Tickets for the Stop The Clocks Tour will go on sale this Friday (July 13th) at 9am.
